This 3-hour foundational class is designed to provide all coffee enthusiasts looking to acquire the essential knowledge and skills to roast personally selected green coffee beans to their own specifications.

This class  will cover everything from the basic knowledge of coffee beans from farm to cup, a tasting of 3 selected regional beans, a tour of our café bar’s equipment, and finally the roasting of green coffee beans chosen by the student. The roasted beans are taken home for consumption by the student.
Includes with your class is a Student Manual and roasting/tasting recording forms.
Class Sizes are kept small to a maximum of 6 persons, and we provide extensive hands-on training and coaching, working with our commercial coffee equipment in our state-of-the-art coffee lab as well as the roasting and cooling equipment. This course is practical, interactive, informative and fun for anyone who wants to start on a coffee roasting journey.
