This 1-Day Professional Coffee Business – Level 2 comprehensive class expands and applies the coffee business concepts learned in Professional Coffee Business – Level 1 and will provide critical knowledge and skills needed to increase the chances of success for any business owner.  It is recommended for anyone: who is considering opening a coffee shop; who has started the planning process to open a coffee shop; and coffee shop owners who recently opened a coffee shop; wanting to further develop and expand their coffee knowledge and business acumen to an advanced level to open and operate a successful coffee shop business. This course is also suitable for someone who has experience working in a coffee shop and wants to explore the possibility of opening their own coffee shop, and anyone with food, bakery or retail experience that wants to complement their existing business with a specialty coffee offering. This in-depth intensive class builds on the Business Level 1 class and is designed to provide additional coffee business knowledge, practical know-how, and tools needed to increase the opportunity for success in planning, operating, and profitably managing a new coffee business. The course provides a comprehensive and unique focus on expanding the business knowledge needed to put you in the best position to effectively start and operate a successful coffee business.

In addition, we will demystify additional financial information to enable you to use it to your advantage in making critical decisions; and you will apply many of the business concepts learned in a Capstone activity designing a cafe.

Included with your class is a Student Manual and New Jersey Coffee School Certificate of Completion.

Class sizes are kept small, and we provide extensive hands-on training and coaching, including working with commercial coffee equipment in our state-of-the-art coffee lab. This course is comprehensive and provides a substantial opportunity for anyone interested in taking their business owner knowledge and skills to an advanced level.
