This 1-Day Barista Training – Level 2 class expands the fundamentals learned in Barista Level 1 and will provide additional knowledge and skills needed to excel in a café. It is recommended for anyone who wants to develop or expand their barista knowledge and skills to an advanced and higher level. This includes potential coffee business owners who either want to work in their coffee business or who want to train their own baristas; budding or experienced baristas who want to learn the craft or expand their knowledge and skills; coffee enthusiasts who are considering becoming a barista; coffee shop baristas, supervisors, and managers that will be responsible for training other baristas.
This in-depth intensive class builds on the Level 1 class and is designed to provide baristas looking to acquire the essential coffee knowledge and skills required to produce consistent high-quality coffee, espresso, and non-espresso-based beverages. In addition, the class places emphasis on more in-depth knowledge of coffee science, health and safety protocols, and the client service aspects that baristas need to focus on, including providing excellent customer service, basic business practices, and other essential skills needed to excel in a cafe.
