What is the time length of classes?

Home Coffee Lovers classes are typically 3 hours. Barista Training sessions are full days (approx. 9 am–5 pm). The 3‑day Professional Business class runs 9 am–5 pm on days 1–2 and ends around 3 pm on day 3.

If I drive my car, am I able to park near the school?

Yes. There’s ample parking at a public garage at 700 Harrison Street (discount before 9 am, out by 6 pm), plus street parking via Park Mobile. We recommend the public garage due to Hoboken’s tight parking.

Is public transportation an option to get to the school?

Yes. We're a 5‑minute walk from NJ Transit Light Rail (9th Street & Congress Street), two stops from Hoboken Terminal. Weekend schedules vary. We’re also ~1 mile from 14th Street ferry to NYC (approx. $9 one‑way, 15 min ride).

If I am attending a full‑day class, will food be available, or should I bring my own?

Some full‑day classes include a complimentary lunch (noted at signup). You’re welcome to bring your own food, and we offer limited refrigeration.

What time should I arrive on class day?

Please arrive about 10 minutes early. Enter via the 8th Street entrance near Monroe, take the elevator to the 5th floor.

Are refunds for classes not taken available?

Generally, refunds are not available. However, we can reschedule your spot if availability allows.

Is a Certificate offered upon class completion?

Yes. Barista Training and Professional Business classes include a Certificate of Completion.

Are classes currently offered in any other language(s), other than English?

Yes. Barista Training Level 1 & 2 are currently offered in Spanish.

Are consulting or mentoring hours offered after I complete a course?

Yes. Professional Business class grads receive two free hours of mentoring or consulting.

Are there any pre‑requisites to taking any of your classes?

Most classes have no prerequisites. Barista Training Level 2 requires completion of Level 1.
